Jamaica Santos works with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, substance misuse, relationship issues, and previous trauma. She has a special interest in supporting women and families adjusting to pregnancy and parenthood, including those with postpartum depression and anxiety disorders.
Jamaica’s Qualifications & Additional Training
She was born and raised in Cody, Wyoming and returned here after her schooling. She studied Psychology at the University of Wyoming and later received her masters in Counseling Psychology at the University of Colorado, Denver. She enjoys the outdoors and loves camping, hiking, and trail running in the wilderness areas surrounding this beautiful town. She also enjoys singing, exercise and nutrition, yoga, and spending time with her family, friends, and animals.
Jamie is a Provisional Professional Counselor in the state of Wyoming. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Adams State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Wyoming. Jamie enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her family and animals out in nature.
Jamie enjoys helping others through individualized therapy and has experience counseling children, adolescents, and adults. Jamie believes that emotional well-being is a lifelong journey that is constantly changing. She is passionate about helping others regain their strength and feel empowered again.
